The Down Rider Fund, Inc. was the dream of founder William "Bones" Weddle, Sr. that became a reality when we became a non-profit organization in 1995. The dream was to raise funds to help motorcycle riders who were hurt in accidents with living expenses and medical bills when there was not enough insurance or benefits to make ends meet. We have also helped with funeral expenses or set up trust funds for children of those who did not survive. Most of our funds are used for those in Frederick County since this is where most of our fund raising takes place. We also try to do toy runs and help some less fortunate during the holiday season. We invite all to participate and support our organization throughout the state.
